Rem 40-XC Rifle c. 1983. #051538C. Purchased new, 1 owner.
Has not been fired since ~1990. Factory 3-pos'n stock with rail,
internal 5-round magazine. Includes: Two hand stops, Freeland
NRA Cuff & Sling Combo, Freeland Full Adjustable Butt Plate system,
with flat and hook butt plates (and original butt plate).
Redfield International Front Sight system with All inserts,
dual height mount base. Redfield Parma rear sight with rotating
aperture disc AND iris aperture sight disc, Redfield receiver
side mount sight base, Rubber glare hood. Factory custom shop
adjustable trigger. Cleaning rod bore guide. Six 7.62 stripper
clips (3 are SS). Lots of LC Match brass, ~400 .308 match bullets,
MCM ammo cases. Stock is birch or beech, and has been refinished.
Less than 2500 rounds down the Douglas SS target barrel.
Barrel was carefully broken in for initial 100 rounds.
1/2 MOA 10-shot groups at 100 yds shooting Hornady 168 gr BTHP
Match bullets. This is an excellent deal for anyone wanting a
top notch target bolt gun set-up, ready to start shooting.
